Khar, your flat is 80% more cozy and 75% less metal than I presumed it would be.

It's decorated with viking weapons, gas masks and belts of ammunition, what more do you want.

3 painting I'm working on

These paintings are naughty. Why are you painting naked ladies, young lady?

B-b-b-because I'm in art school mr. teacher professor sir, I am merely expressing my suppressed female sexual desire. W-w-w-would you help me develop this project concept further?

Well, it's an apartment, not a dorm room, but I *am* at college, so why not?

1: Bed
2: Nightstand/alarm clock/random paperwork on shelf
3: Japanese kanji artwork ("Marine*" and "Older Brother")
4: Navigator wings
5: 1000-flight-hour award
6: Color laser printer (that's how I roll)
7: Computer
8: Going-away-plaque from one of my squadrons
9: "I love me" wall: promotion warrants, awards, etc
10: Fire extinguisher!

( * Literally "Sea Soldier")

1: AARON RODGERS HE'S SO DREAMY
2: Clean laundry that I'm too lazy to fold (dirty laundry goes directly into my washer)
3: Camping gear
4: Clothes
5: Stop sign blatantly stolen from campustown
6: Star Wars Legos
7: Books
8: Star Trek DVD box sets

1: Free couch #1 (from parents)
2: Free couch #2 (from craigslist) with sweet Kwajalein Atoll afghan
3: Coffee table w/ random crap
4: End table made out of plastic footlockers; covered in schoolbooks/binders/etc
5: Beanbag chair from Japan that is the most awesome beanbag chair ever
6: TV/entertainment center/video gamesssss
7: Auxiliary Beer Fridge (with more Star Wars Legos) (note adjacent beer can receptacle)

And yes, it's pretty much always this clean.

6: Star Wars Legos

Ooh, do you have the original Y-wing model? I wanted to get it because the Y-wing was my favourite Star Wars space-ship when I was a kid but then I didn't because it was, like, A$70, and then when I finally decided to get it they'd discontinued it and now they've got some crappy new model but it's "Annakin's Y-wing" or some bullshit and no way am I buying that because I refuse to endorse the prequel trilogy in any way and even though I can find the original model on Amazon none of the stores that Amazon sources it through will ship it to Australia and it makes me sad.

Yep!  I've got an X-wing, Y-wing, B-wing, 2 A-wings (they were cheap), 2 TIE fighters, 1 TIE interceptor, 1 TIE Bomber, 1 Droid TIE, Darth Vader's TIE Advanced, a Bespin Cloud Car, and Boba Fett's Slave I.  Ditto on none of this crappy prequel trilogy stuff.

The TIE Defender gets released in January and I'm totally going to get it.  There's also a mid-scale Millennium Falcon that I might pick up, if I have the money (because I definitely can't afford the full-scale, $500 set).

Star Wars Legos are basically my super-nerd guilty pleasure.

fine serious answer:

I hope you aren't that girl who makes black and white movies of herself naked for class assignments. That's one of the stereotypes you encounter at art schools and it's totally transparent, like girls who make out with each other in clubs.

Okay, but have you seen the loadout on a B-wing?  If you're going for a bomber, you've got to go for super unglamorous but crazy effective and the B-wing checks all of those boxes.  If you want to talk about attractive, then it's just the X-wing and we're done.

I *don't* live in a dorm. I'm not planning on attending college for another year (gotta save money)

Anyway, here goes my narcissistic display of my messy bedroom:

1: French poster of Laputa: Castle In The Sky (laminated)
2: Computer Monitor, cleverly turned around in order to watch movies and avoid use of chair
3: Empty bottle of Schnapps from gift shop in Salzburg salt mine
4: Turntable with Al Di Meola live album which I bought for ~5 dollars
5: Recording of Mahler's 6th Symphony. I can't remember what orchestra or conductor.
6: Some books and CDs
7: Lavalamp and alarm clock, currently not in use
8: Ghost In The Shell poster. Came with DVD
9: Zildjian Sweet Ride
10: Stereo speaker with plate on top. Possibly related to the unseen cheapass receiver and the other speaker up higher

1: Les Miserables and The Judgment of Paris (I sense a theme here)
2: Pro-Ject Headbox II headphone amp, shitass subwoofer
3: Speaker sitting on top of hand drum
4: Receiver sitting on top of spare drum throne (I sure am cheap aren't I?)

1: Books? In my closet?
2: A very shitty cymbal
3: A floor tom
4: A very old computer
5: Acoustic guitar. Given up in favour of old upright piano not pictured
6: Rear computer speaker, other 4 not pictured
7: Clothes?

1: Denon AH-D2000s
2: Death Note wall scroll
3: Full Metal Panic wall scroll
4: Blackwater Park vinyl
5: Watchmen button thingy; stolen from movie theatre
6: Book on Indian Cuisine, Call of Duty World at War, and bottle of tylenol
7: My monitor and desktop

X-Wings, A-Wing, Millennium Falcon, Imperial Star Destroyer Mk II (You can tell because it has a smaller sensor on the bridge), TIE Fighter, TIE Interceptor, Y-Wing, Death Star II, Executor-class Super Star Destroyer, Imperial Shuttle. Incidentally the only one of those that doesn't have an official Lego model is the Executor.

Bunch of shitty Star Trek stuff.

That ship from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Uh, Red Dwarf

Bunch of shitty Star Trek stuff.

The scale makes it confusing. There's a borg cube, and I think three enterprises (NCC1701-A, NCC1701-D and NCC1701-E if I'm not mistaken)

Quote
That ship from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Discovery One.

Phillistine

A close examination of the picture also reveals Starbug, Darth Vader's personal TIE Advanced prototype, and several other objects I could not identify.

This image, however, is too small. I shall repair to my photoshop layer and make a large image of many spaceships that shall provide a true challenge.

Wait, that's not a good defence.
