So I've been getting tired of the yuletide standards... I figure this can be a good thread to share some of the more interesting Christmas mixes. I guess we can talk about favorite albums or share some really cool ones maybe??

I for one have been listening a lot to Twisted Christmas by Twisted Sister, and a Very Scary Solstice, the HP Lovecraft Christmas album. I've heard good things about Mistletoe Lounge, which is "chillout" Christmas music. I also like George Winston's solo piano album December. Pretty nice wintery music for sure!

Anyone else have cool Christmas tunes?

Honestly, I still love the old standard of Vince Guaraldi's "Charlie Brown Christmas." Also, Handel's "Messiah" is a Christmas tradition in my family (and in most symphony orchestras).

Sufjan Stevens and Stevie Wonder have some good Christmas music to listen to. I much prefer listening to songs actually about the hobo family, though. The Barenaked Ladies and Sarah McLaughlin's God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen tickles my fancy.
