There was one aborted single that was really good (I forget what song) but the whole record kind of made me retroactively embarrassed for 2005, especially the one track Missy Elliot parodies herself on.

Khar, some good points and I agree with you and I think the whole 4 corporations controlling what people listen to is crap. but also there is some fun music that comes out of that "arse". I have found myself humming along to a top 40 song I know on the radio and I'm fine with that. But I love the indie bands man. The real artists. The ones who have to scrape up cash to self produce an album, the ones who edit and record it themselves.
But also remember some of the top 40 artists had to deal with that also.

But I'm not an elitist or whatever. I just like whatever has a great rhythm and mood.
I don't care who it comes from, I'm a whore like that. :]
