Coming of age
« on: 15 Jan 2010, 06:09 »

The search function all kinds of doesn't work for me so MAYBE IT'S ALREADY BEEN POSTED BUT HEADS UP...

Coming Of Age - the WORST tv show ever to be shown on UK screens - Officially endorses Questionable Content.

You can watch the tshirt in full glorious motion on the bbc iplayer, but you really don't want to.

Which episode - or can you post a link?  I'd rather not slog through them all...

It's called "Rudies" and if you watch it you'll see most of it through your fingers as you constantly facepalm.

Season 2, Episode 1

And yes, it may be dreadful, but I personally find it pretty funny. Noticed the QC shirt at the time too, just didn't remember for long enough to say afterwards. Makes you wonder how much other merch (not just QC merch) shows up on TV.

Huh. I'm not sure I'll ever really grasp how popular QC is.

Only one I (sort of recently) enjoyed spotting was a BoC Campfire Headphase poster in The IT Crowd.

BoC?  Board of Certification?  Brotherhood of Catfisherman?  Bingo or Confession (catholics only)?

WTF? Have I gone invisible again, like Burt Campbell in Soap? Marcie Ross in Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

BoC is Boards of Canada, a Scottish electronic duo, The Campfire Headphase was their third studio album, and I already explained this halfway up the thread!

Why do you list a list? Whyyyyyyyyy?
  • Because lists are the destructive, explosive device
  • I should know, I make them all the time in my posts
  • I, too, have been called a destructive, explosive device. (Not sure if that's a compliment).
  • But I usually sort them with A), B) and so on instead of bullets
  • Except, obviously, this time.
