Human Barbecue Returns
« on: 09 Feb 2010, 10:21 »

Hey guys, as many of you may have picked up on over the years, I spent my college years as a member of a "fraternity" at the University of Pennsylvania, a full description of which would probably be futile, repetitive, futile, and repetitive.

However, one thing that I do think you guys should know is that our Festival of Charred Flesh, the extravaganza that is Human BBQ, is happening again this year, and the lineup is pretty much downright fantastic.

Blues Control (Woodsist, Holy Mountain, Siltbreeze)
Double Dagger (Thrill Jockey) (Baltimore)
These United States (DC/Lexington)
The Extraordinaires (Punk Rock Payroll)
Algernon Cadwallader (Be Happy)
Netherfriends (Chicago)
Dangerous Ponies (Punk Rock Payroll)
Hot Guts (Badmaster)
My Mind (Badmaster)
Anamanaguchi
Pink Skull (RVNG)
Little Flower
Golden Ages
MCW Murphy
Campbell Davis

(OK maybe the last 3 acts are members or ex-members of the house.)

Guys this is going to be really, really great and it is totally worth your while to come to West Philly to this party.  PM me for details.

OWW I have literally no way to make this and only clicked the thread because it had "barbecue" in the title but that's a pretty rad lineup.

I've been meaning to come to one of these for a while.  Hopefully employment will resume and I will have the money to spend.

Birds of Maya, Home Blitz, and Electric Jellyfish (from Australia!) have been added to the bill.
