Snowing again here in Virginia.

Only supposed to get ten inches this time, which is about half as much as we got with the Dec. 18th snow.   I'm heading out to do the first of many driveway shoveling expeditions.  At 75m long, it's much easier to do it several times and inch at a time then wait until it's all done coming down.

At least, that's the attitude that everybody seems to have adopted around here.  Thank the deity of your choice I wasn't out of toilet paper because I don't think there is a roll to be found for 100 miles.

We're getting 18-24 inches in Baltimore County.

Yeah My manager at work has already told me to not bother coming in tomorrow because of this, since they're closing at 4. It's already going to be white again when I wake up.

Though at least the govt.'s gonna take it seriously this time with the salt trucks and shit, this past Saturday it seems like they got caught with their pants down, the roads were such a clusterfuck.

(I like to think of it as karma for last winter which was pretty vicious)

similar! today I found out that the show has piled high enough outside my windows where I can open the blinds and still no one can see in. So now I can walk around in my apt naked like always, but with sun! happy happy sunshine rays beaming on through

Every single one of my college's campuses have been closed due to the snow fall.  I'm ecstatic I don't have to do a Microbiology lab, which I wouldn't have done any way, but the Accounting test is pushed back yet again.  Also no sledding down the hill on campus.

Man, there are snow flurries for longer than one week, and now the whole frikkin' country is bitching about being sick of this weather. Even the newspapers bitch about the weather. People are sending letters to the weatherman to complain about the snow and ask when fall is coming. What the fuck is wrong with these people? The streets are clean and it's never colder than five degrees below zero.

Yeah, I just heard we're due for another big one too.  Mother. Fuck.

Seriously, I'm ready to move back to Hawaii.  Having a hard time remembering why I left.   I was driving around Crystal City today and it was straight hazardous due to snow being piled so high you couldn't see what traffic was doing.  Nearly got t-boned by a white Beemer.
