I am discomfited by the implication that there are people on this forum that actually think before they hit "post". Doin' it wrong, you guys.

Now somebody's printing out the "What are you listening to" thread from the music forum.

It goes for more than 70 pages. Why does anybody need a permanent record of that??

I'm not pissed off, I'm just utterly bemused. Like when you see someone drinking an alcopop.

No, but you can print the HexCode of all the uploaded music files, then in 50 years when all of the digital formats of today are obsolete and nothing can read our primitive "discs", it will be simple to OCR the stack of papers to extract and convert the information to holographic storage and transform into sound waves once again.

Adobe Audition can output an audio file as an image.  The idea is that you can edit it in Photoshop and re-import it to get new (aka weird) effects.  You could, of course, print the image.

Someone was printing BABIES?

I'm wondering if it's not just a hiccup of the status indicator. It can make mistakes, right?

I just got the image of a midwife and a woman giving birth swinging towards each other on a trapeze - when they meet, the midwife pulls the baby out. The knife juggler is standing on the floor and cuts the umbilical cord with a a knifethrow.

Oh, I get it. it's seventy-four pages long, so if you want to read the entire thing in one go, or search for something particular, you get the entire thread in one single page. Mystery solved! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go print out the Pointless Thread.

I just clicked 'post' for another thread, and instead of posting, it offered to save the thread to my desktop.
Is there some sort of bug?

I've never had this, but often when I search it asks me if I want to save a file called index.php
