My band will be opening on the first and only Florida date.

Anyone else excited about this tour?

So Jimmy is finally getting time away from Down to tour with EHG? Guess that makes sense, since I know Crowbar is coming out with a new album this year, wonder if any of the other members of Down and going to make use of the time for their other projects.

I wonder if they are planning on heading west after Illinois, and just haven't gotten anything booked yet. Seems odd that their tour would be mostly damnyankee states.

Seems odd that they'd play in a Unitarian church.

It's some big venue in Philly, apparently.

The First Unitarian Church isn't "big" in the sense that it can hold a lot of people, but it IS "big" in the sense that there are a LOT of shows there, along the lines of at least 4-5 a week.  They're generally about 12 bucks, and the venue is all-ages, so it's a very popular venue.  I've been to the FUC more times than I can possibly remember.  It's a great place to see a show and the bands that come through are often pretty awesome (I've seen Boris there tree times, for example).

They're currently on tour in Europe with Totimoshi. I saw them in Belfast on Sunday night and it was the most wonderful Easter in a while.
