Ahoy Ahoy mark 2
« on: 14 Apr 2010, 10:28 »

Hello there. I think I joined the forum over a year ago, and have more or less been a lurker around the QC world since 2004, but I thought I would try my hand at a proper 'Hi, I'm new' thread.

I'm intergal, live in the UK, and I spend the vast majority of my free time reading, or working on my own writing, or more recently trying to beat the monster that is Sonic Adventure 2 (I hate Chao, I couldn't raise an Evil Chao, and now I have to wait for the Neutral ones to have kids. This was a lot more than you need to know about my gaming). I'm also a huge fan of fantasy and sci-fi in general, Japanese  and Chinese cinema (my degree was in Japanese, and my thesis was on Kitano films), cooking with my Asterisk cookbook and various TV shows. My current favourites are Sons of Anarchy (only been half-heartedly watched because of terrible scheduling on FiveUSA), Gail Carriger, Jim Butcher, and I've also somehow ended up watching Wallander. Music tastes are pretty eclectic as well.

Currently, as regards my own projects, I write a little web serial called 'Cold Ghost', adapted from my NaNoWriMo project. You can read it either at my Writing LJ or at my WordPress Page, Salsa Bazaar. Hope some of your are able to stop on by.

I think that's the jist of it. Tis lovely to meet you all, and I look forward to getting to know you.

I tried to romance a lady photographer once. But it didn't work out because I could never understand about f-spots.
