Icelandic folklore speaks of terrible were-sharks, aquatic lycanthrope that hunt the frigid seas, wreaking terror on the settlers, hellbent on consuming the small island nation whole. The old worlds of the North sent their greatest wizards to end the evil threat, forging the nation now known as Iceland on top of the fiery gateways to the deep dark nether realms below our own world. It is said that for the last two thousand years, powerful conjurers have explored the frost-bitten wastes of the north, questing to seek out the ancient secrets of old magik to protect Iceland from the fiery depths that threatened to unleash evil and abomination so long ago. Evil has not forgotten its ways however, and still to this day you will hear stories of smoke and ash pouring out from beneath the grounds of Iceland, a haunting reminder of the past, a warning to future generations to fear the demon hordes of the Necromongor Eyjafjallajökull.
