You see, there are still faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity. Indeed that's what we provide in our own modest, humble, insignificant... oh, fuck it. - M. Gustave

The demo was kind of fun, but you could only do multiplayer and only play as two classes.  Kotaku gave it a pretty good review

You should have pre-ordered it from Gamestop, they gave out Shockwave as a bonus

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xt68BX8eieY after this review i think im sold on getting it.  But I would like to see Zero Punctuation review it, but what with release differences and unsure if he would even try it i dont think a yahtzee review will happen.

I pre-ordered it from Gamestop (being as I work there) and cancelled it today and put my pre-order on Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. I spent an hour or so in store messing around with it and it just wasn't engaging to me at all, the movement's clunky and while the transformations are nice, the environments aren't particularly interesting. The multi-player plays like a brawl at best, which is okay, but it doesn't seem very deep or long lasting. So I'm going to give it a pass, but maybe I'm just being really harsh on it, plus I'm still really into Battlefield Bad Company 2's multi-player and I think I might just be spoiled. Maybe someone who's had more time with it could share their impressions.

The problem is is that I really wanted this to be a good game, I wanted it to be the Batman:Arkham Asylum of Transformer games, and its just not getting me.

Edit: Its not that the environment's aren't interesting, its that they're too busy, and it distracts me and throws me out of the game.

Yeah, I mean, "I won't kill and eat you if you won't kill and eat me" is typically a ground rule for social groups.

So far it's just ok.  I seem to run out of ammo a lot and the environments all seem to be the same.

im playing it now as the autobots and I have to say I rather like the game.  certain baddies are just tough to beat and it changes up the combat to keep me interested.  Cant wait to have the chance to play a jet and wish I had a live account to try the multiplayer.

new flash, jet form and jet transformers are awesome!
