A recent traditional turn-based RPG from NIS, which features the ability to recruit characters from several different NIS games, including Atelier Iris and Disgaea games. But you can also recruit characters from Darkstalkers and other franchises. It has stylish 2D graphics, and a pretty cool battle system.
The thing is, it is one of the most inaccessible games I've ever played. The battle system, while cool, is almost impossible to understand. The whole interface of the game seems made to confuse players. I can't even figure out how to assign skills or how I would even GAIN those skills. The tutorials are useless, and guides online only serve to confuse me further. Has anyone played this game, and understood it enough to explain things and answer questions for someone who is completely clueless?
