I bow to your mastery of the archives.

Should the title of the strip about Cosette's curse have been "The Claire Witch Project"?

I am somewhat surprised that the "tomahawks and judo holds" moment is winning hands down... am I missing something?

I suppose both of us are. I voted for Faye actually admitting a hard-ass boss would've fired her.

I give Hanners a month, max, QC time. Which may be two years to you and me.

Wow, it's just like Inception!

Actually, it was meant to be just like <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B43Lnqs-eUg
">Lorne Greene[/url]. But I decided there was a fair chance only Carl-E, Border Reiver, and possibly some assorted Canadians would know who he was (no, not the 'Host' from Angel, although there is a connection, probably because Joss is a fairly weird guy).

You're obviously counting on us not working out how to throw rotten tomatoes through the intertubes.

And, so far, you've been right.
So far.

He will always be "Pa" Cartwright to me.

I identified more with Hoss than either Adam or Li'l Joe.

Oddly, the older I get, the more I identify with Adam (not to mention Pernell Roberts' reasons for leaving the show). But never Lil' Joe. Nor Charles Ingalls, nor Whosman Smith.

Yes, I always laugh when I read that sobriquet.

And I see I was correct. Am I the only one of us three whom it bugs a bit that all of the 'Cartwrights' are dead now?

Time marches on.  What bugs me more is the people I've worked or played with, roughly my age, who have passed away.

One of my colleagues, 6 years my junior, suffered massive internal organ failure.  One day he was complaining about how tight his pants had gotten and that his feet were swollen, the next day the ambulence he called was too late.  The autopsy was inconclusive.  All they could tell was that the swelling was from the kidneys failing before the liver and pancreas went.  He basically drowned.

The next year one of my poker buddies, 4 years older than I, also complained about his pants getting tight, even though he was losing weight.  He had a case of shingles, too, which the doctor chalked up to stress.  By the time they found the lymphoma, he only had 3 days left.

So I've been working real hard on keeping my pants fitting loosely... if they suddenly get tight, and it isn't pizza night, call somebody!
