Jodie's Sydney Adventure
« on: 25 Aug 2010, 15:24 »

Hello my Sydney flavoured forum pals!

As some of you are aware, in December I shall be gracing your city with my dleightful presence.  Hoorah!  I know it's only August but I like to be organised.

So, I am planning to fly down on Thursday 9 December at night (probably leaving Brisbane at like 8, so getting to Sydney at whatever hour later) and then flying back again on Monday afternoon some time.

Now I do have some plans during this time.  I am going to visit my derby wife Kate, a recent addition to Sydney (sob) and we are going to see Blondie and the pretenders together.

So, the plans look like this.  I spend Thursday night to like, halfway through Staurday with you guys (Luuuuncchhyyyy <3) and then we do the divorced parents child swap and Kate will take me for the rest of the time.

How does this sound to people.  Lunchy, should should 100% get Friday 10 December off work so we can dance around.

Let me know your plans guys, and things we should do and who is goign to be around!  I am staying with Lunchables and Nick I believe!

I will totes get Friday 10 December off. I will apply for it right now.  I will take you to all the cool places that I didn't know about last time you visited!

There is a bundle of room at our place, we have a couch, a sofa bed couch, a futon couch and a fold-outy mattress chair thing (affectionately known as the Flip'n'Fuck). Maybe by then we will have someone living in the basement studio but there is heaps of room in the loungeroom and in my room. It is also airconditioned so nobody will die I hope.
If anyone else wants to come chilll I'm sure that's cool.

Also if you come to my house you can see this

Tiger has not peed on anything except her litter in this house, Jodie.
Maybe she just needed to do final acts of rebellion as a teenage kitty.

Lunchy your house was lovely. I was humphing at Jodie for living on the other side of the country and not being nice enough to come to Sydney when I was in it because it costs money or she is too good for me or something.

I was humping Jodie

This is what I read.

May that is also what I read!  I was confused as I did not remember Katie humping me EVER and I felt dissapointed.

I am sorry Katie it was bad timing!  I saw you in America!  I came to you then!

Dang Katie that is almost like me being mad that the tronnocon stragglers several years ago didn't come visit me when I was in Vancouver.

Also you might have humped me but I was most likely asleep because sleeping is what I do best.

I wish I had rollerskates but that shit is expensive and there are so many other things that I need to spend money on yet!

Anyway yes someone needs to hang out with Jodie on Friday night because I am going to go see Hot Water Music.

Guys this is in like 2 weeks!

Is anyone picking me up from the airport Thursday night seeing as Lunchy has better things to do I think?  I get in at 7:50pm and I love you all!

Does anyone have any fun ideas of things to do?  Yay visits!

Yeah, that. I have my work Christmas party and I can't get out of it. Also I can't hang out Friday night due to aforementioned HWM (maybe I can give a ticket to one of Max's friends?). Seems like I will never get to see Jodie at all, even if she is staying with me. :(
If you guys go out somewhere I can meet up with you at like 9 or 10 on Thursday?

Also I will take you to my favourite strip of vintage/retro/awesome stores on Friday or Saturday, it is right near where I used to live and I did not discover it until after you had left last time :(
