You missed "Faye's panic attacks get worse, and she crawls back into her hole, then tries to pull it in after her." That would be worst. And, I suspect, most likely.

I still say Dora, having pushed Faye into this date, is not likely to freak out if she sees Marten and Faye on the couch. She's surely got enough sense to know what's happening there. And if she actually does jump to the wrong conclusion, I'd guess Dora'd slink back into the bedroom, overcome by insecurity and (false) guilt.

Now there would be a fine kettle of fish. Let's hope it doesn't happen.

And i, to vote for it.

... Remember when Dora turned Marten and (Faye?) into bunnies, and then smote them for getting it on?  I guess that's not canon, since "it was all a dream" [purposely not mentioning the dangerous tvtropes.com trap] ...?  [No! Don't go there!]

Edit:
What comic was that?  [Too lazy to search for it.]

I think Dora can occasionally be headstrong enough to jump to conclusions and smite thereby, (in the interest of webcomicdrama, of course... which would be amply served by Dora's unexpected appearance gazing down at the current sexy Marten-Faye configuration.)

That wasn't Faye; it was Generic Girl (possibly Sweet-Tits—she usually gets the crummy jobs).

Provided Dora's not pranking them (still, in my opinion, a possibility), it might also end with her actually getting into therapy for her insecurity. Which Dora probably needs. Jeph has has managed to write those problems and some of their root causes into her and (now that I think about it, although it manifests differently) Sven pretty subtly, but they're there.

Yes, I think both of them are more than moderately fucked up.

Dora has pondered therapy. I'm too lazy to look up the comic.

Now that option one has happened, we need a poll for what would be the worst thing to happen next?

I'm not sure whether it would be worse for Dora to tell Angus what she thinks happened, or if Tai were to find out and put the Sexy-time moves on Dora, who is only to happy to take advantage of the opportunity.

Worst thing to happen next: Marten explodes on Dora and tells her GT#O.

If this happens, I predict one thing: QC will be finished by year's end.

If that happens that would probably be something to cause Marten to dump her, either that or for Tai to...no if Marten were to to anything overtly violent or hostile he could easily get charged with something problematic. I find it unlikely though just because if that were to even start occurring other people would be calling her out on it before it got started.

Pretty heavy prediction there.
This would be a perfect way to start the end of the strip. Dora dumps Marten, Faye moves in with Angus, Cosette burns down CoD...

Jeph makes his living off this strip and the merch that goes alongside it; why would he want to end it?

now just hold on a dang minute...

a few strips ago, all was peaches & bunnies, and even Faye (Faye!) was finding twu wuv.......  some of us were feeling bereft of webcomic drama....   we got a hint (somewhere, i didn't see it) of Jeph starting a new (dramatic) arc...

and here it is, apparently starting, sparking some wild speculations on The End of QC....?   Sure. speculations can be fun, it's part of the whole 'sperience, but i don't even want to THINK of QC winding down already...   This is Jeph doing what he does best - dancing deftly between slice-of-life and outright dramatic conflict; letting his characters get on with their normal lives and stumbling over each other with angst, sound and fury.  (And even more deftly avoiding most of the predictions!)

Hey, if we can get some bizarre delights out of this, like Dora-Tai spite-sex, I won't complain (really, how else could that ever happen?)  :-D

I'm just really glad to go along for the ride.  8-)

I would complain about Dora-Tai sex. Although, to be fair, I'd complain about Tai having sex with anyone. I shudder at even the faintest chance of Tai reproducing.

Yes, Jeph could end the whole thing with Marten, having nothing to hold him, leaving, going back to Cali…but I don't think so.

the only problem I have with dora-tai spite sex is that Jeph is less explicit than a 9pm Cinemax movie. that makes me sad.

Very sad, especially cuz this is the interwebs, where anything should be possible (didn't they use to say that about America, now stupidly repressive about sex?)

I do not think I can properly convey how much I hate the idea of Dora and Tai having sex. When Tai even brings it up, it makes her look skeevy. It's like she goes from Marten's Cool Boss to I Am Only Friends With You Because I Want To Tap Your Girlfriend's Ass.

Also, I am hoping Marty and Spookybutt make it through this. They are adorable when Dora is not being Fucking Crazy Modo, and I think she can get past that.
