Hi everyone, I'm Eddy and I'm pretty new to the world of QC. I had been reading Sam and Fuzzy since its inception and even though "that bastard" Sam mentioned Jeph's comic every now and then I just never felt like I had time to enjoy it. Some time last month I decided to take the plunge and started on QC #1. I'm proud (I think) to say that I'm fully caught up! I've had a lot of laughs with this comic and I certainly look forward to more of it!

I've been racking my brain for the last couple hours thinking "what part of Britain would this particular accent come from?"

Wouldn't be Norfolk, would it?

Some things are most easily explained by the hypothesis that it's just a fictional comedy with things exaggerated for comic effect. However, this explanation is too boring for us to accept it just because it's true.

It was my clumsy at attempt at a non-specific Northern accent. I probably didn't do it very well.  :-P

Well so am I. Got referred to QC last January and became instantly hooked. Perhaps it wasn't wise to read thru the archives in one sitting...

I'm from Finland, in my forties and teach math at the local Uni. Perhaps it is fitting/descriptive that the only musical reference in QC I ever got was one of the early ones, where Faye irritated Dora by humming Mrs Robinson.
