We love our pets!
« on: 22 Nov 2010, 15:14 »

And everyone loves bunnies.

Thumbalina the French Angora that is way bigger then most cats.

Spunge and Brillo. Mini Rex cross and Netherland Dwarf cross.

Spunge, Brillo, and Handsoap, the bunny I lost in our custody battle over the rabbits.

I'm pretty sure my pets are the most badass. But I'll take challengers.

Tiger is jealous of Betty's credenza/radiator/thing. There are no good cat perches in this house. She just sits on the top of the stair rail instead and then I get worried and take her down.

(Also Tiger and Betty are old friends from webcam times a few years ago when Tommy and I would make them wave to each other.)

I don't have any pets these days. Unless Speckle Face the pigeon counts (he doesn't, really).

Now I am sad and want a kitty.

I don't have any pets either :( Except for all the dogs we have adopted when we have stayed at people's house. My favourite dog is probably still Huda's Jack Russel, Dodger (that I do not have any photos of unfortunately).

There was also Tonya

and Remi

and Kelso

and Milo the extremely overweight cat

All I have is a crappy picture from my sister's friend's cell phone, because apparently Dogbook doesn't exist anymore. Anyway, this elder statesman is my dog friend, Bailey. I call him Bonnie 'Prince' Bailey, or sometimes Baile Funk, because I think Bailey is an unfortunately plain name for a dog.

He is the handsomest little guy.

because I think Bailey is an unfortunately plain name for a dog.

My friend has a puppy named Bailey. His parents wouldn't let him name it after Frank Lampard, so he went with a tribute to Gareth Bale instead.

Personally, I don't know why he didn't just name it Gareth, if that's what he was going for.

It is kind of a odd name. It's like there should be more at the end, or someone couldn't say Garth correctly.

RIP Waffles, who died back in April. I miss my fat-tastic kitty. :c

He was so fat...

And this is Rosie. She will be my "pet" for part of December as I housesit for my cousin. She's a pretty rad dog.

Cernunnos, does your cat often make base arguments upon axioms that basic anthropology and common sense prove to be untrue?

What I am trying to say is, what's with the name?

These were our old ferrets Sam and Simon!

They died. :( But we have Emmit now!

*Emmit is getting his own post, check below*

This is my cat Sam. He is an awesome emotionally damaged cat with abandonment issues and has asthma. He also is an emotional eater.

He likes to steal the couch for it's warms and the entertainment.

He also likes boxes, cause what sane cat doesn't like a box.

How can you not think this is adorable!

He is the terror of the carpeted seas!

Luckily, we were able to capture him with only an acceptable number of casualties.

His capture, unfortunately, set off a bout of depression which resulted in many a sad sight like the one below.

Animals! How I love them!

This is my old Australian sheppard Amber. And my little sister (I had to steal the picture off her facebook since I don't have any). She made it almost 15 years, which is pretty good for a dog I guess? I miss her now =(

This is my girlfriend's cat Cleo. She prefers food to people, and thus is tremendously fat.

His name is Sparky.

He's kind of a dick, and has an eating disorder that's apparently a common problem with his breed.

I've seen this dog try to eat CDs.

Only things he doesn't seem to want to eat is 1.  Jello (he just puts it in his mouth, tries to chew it, gets weirded out, sets it down, licks it, then leaves it alone), and 2. broccoli (he makes a pile of it hidden in a corner.  He doesn't eat it.)

I love him to death, though, but he keeps trying to eat my wallet and the money in it.

I am only mildly distraught by my lack of pets, though my mother does own a neurotic cat-from-Hell named Tip, a replacement for my sister's cat Slippers, who died a year ago today from a heart attack at nearly 15 years old.

I had to get rid of my pit bull puppy Chance and my Shih tzu Xenia a few months ago when I moved in with my parents and gave birth to my daughter. Hey! Does a newborn count as a pet? If so, here she is. She's 18 days old in the picture, but will be 3 months old next week.

She even tells me when she has to poop. The peeing, not so much. LOL

She is petted quite often - In fact, I saw a little onesie/dress I need to get her saying "I'm not spoiled, I'm just ... really well taken care of" ... Though I might not ... The aforementioned neurotic kitty from Hell is a hateful, jealous tuxedoed asshole who tries to steal her carseat and her little bouncie-seat by sleeping in them and covering them with cat hairs, he also tries to EAT her CLOTHES.

He's such a bastard. But he's a fatso, too. He was the spoiled baby of the house before Abarie came along.
