What's with all the threads with the word 'thread' in their title? I'd like to think that as a collective we're intelligent enough to know it's a thread without having to be told it in the title.

Does this mean we've reached the zenith of these kinds of threads this time around? Isn't that how it usually works? We make some threads, people copy those threads, then we start talking about how we hate people making copy threads.

It would seem there are multiple Banffs.

It seems to me that things would be a lot easier if there was an international commission to rename all the duplicated towns. Like I live in Newport. Do you know how many fucking Newports there are? There are like, at least thirty-seven Newports. Some of them blatantly need to be renamed. Like we can call the oldest one Oldport and the newest one Newestport and the rest we'll have to be more creative with, which will be a good thing because whoever names a town Newport isn't being too fucking creative. There's a fucking Newtown just up the road as well (minimum of forty-seven Newtowns). Founding a town is a pretty big thing you'd think. Like sure I guess sometimes they just happen accidentally but still you'd think you'd try and put some goddamn effort into it.

Did you hear about the time some Chelsea fans picked up a cab for Stamford Bridge and ended up in Stamford Bridge and missed the game.

Mind you, it's not as bad as the Canadians who decided to call a town London and the river that runs through it the Thames. That's messed up.
