Another N00b
« on: 17 Mar 2011, 09:12 »

Hi All,

I just 'discovered' QC a few weeks ago and got hooked!

Our friend Jeph has created a drug more addictive than any narcotic I've ever been exposed to. I absolutely binged on the archives and read all 1870+ posts in about a week.

As a 50YO computer professional, I should be immune to letting pictures and words distract me from work and keep me up until 4:30 in the morning.

But no! Characters that we can relate to. Even care about. Issues that we ether have or must deal with.

Growth in the characters, the writing and the artwork.

I could blabber on about the way he mixed powerful writing (Faye's back-story) and humor (Hanner's, the next morning "What did I miss").

But, this is just for introductions, so I'll shut up for now.
