It seems like I'm not the only one who's entirely impatient waiting for the next season.

Although the ending of Season 4 completely pissed me off, I think it'll probably probably be good for Don's overall character arc. After hitting rock bottom, he can only go up, right? I hope?

So I bought the Mad Men Illustrated picture book or something and man is it both hilarious and fucking awesome at the same time

I could base a theme party all from this book as a reference.
And I have to try me an Old Fashioned.

Hm, still hasn't been confirmed for a 5th season, though Matt Weiner says it will be. Apparently it's a funding issue.

I'd be completely shocked if it wasn't renewed. I'm sure there's some annoying bureaucratic thing holding it up but nothing that will actually derail the show.

Yeah. Weiner himself said he intends to make new seasons until he's completely worn each character out, haha.

All Mad Men does is attempt to balance out the attitude of women and men, considering that's impossible because men rule this world and always will. Why would you want to watch such garbage? That show has one good part, that curvy red head and honestly, that's all it needs.

Otherwise, you're wasting your time. Watch a good show. I hear reality TV is finally assimilating the rest of television quite well. Might I suggest Jersey Shore or The Bachelor?

To the person who compared Breaking Bad finales and Mad Men finales, it should be pointed out that while Breaking Bad's season premieres tend to take place as soon as moments after the finale, Mad Men usually has a good amount of time between each season.  For example, I wouldn't be surprised if it jumped from 1965 to 1967, with Don and Megan already married.

Whelp, looks like we might not see Season 5 until late this year or early next year due to the ongoing revenue dispute between Lionsgate and AMC.

Man, that would really suck.  Breaking Bad is not enough for an entire year!  (And I seem to be the only person who loves all things zombie but didn't care for The Walking Dead)

Oh, I'm not saying it was bad by any means.  I was just underwhelmed, is all.  I'll probably rewatch season 1 sometime this summer, maybe I'll appreciate it more in a marathon.

I didn't hate The Walking Dead, but I didn't care for it either, so you're not alone on that. I'm thinking since Mad Men is gonna take a while, I should rewatch this last season, since the ending still kind of irks me.

I've actually yet to watch episode six, but I figure since it's such a short season I'll just rewatch the first five before watching the finale.

The Walking Dead just got worse and worse as it went on I felt. It's really a shame that such a cool premise with an obviously big budget wasn't able to develop any interesting characters, avoid 99% of the extremely tired zombie movie cliches, or, you know, not be boring almost all the time. I'll check out the next season in hopes that maybe they got some new writers on board or something but I do not have high hopes. Guess I'll just have to wait for Hell on Wheels (yeah I know the name is absolutely awful) for a good new amc show (since Rubicon ended up being pretty lame and I'm not a huge fan of detective shows so The Killing isn't calling out to me at this point)

When the first scene with the scientist dude came up, I was actually so angry. The writing got so cheesy up to a point.

News: Hamm's directing the fifth season premiere, let's hope he's as good as Cranston (srsly, the premiere of S2 and 3 were really good) and they're filming in August.

Guys, I'm too tired to make an adequate Jon Hamm director/writer/stud fucker sex tape joke. Can someone do it for me.

c'mon this is post 69
