So far, I have found two. One of them is when marten buys those Terry pratchett books, the second is http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1313 millenium hand and shrimp

what about the witch Dora calls to un-jinx Cosette? her manners and her craving for tea reminded me of Mistress Granny Weatherwax :-D

EDIT: got the strip! -> http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1716

Sure - but frankly, I don't see that witch as Granny Weatherwax.  She's not wearing enough black, for a start.

Trivial fact: my avatar in Second Life has the surname Weatherwax.

Sadly, while my opinion so far is that the Discworld series is the single best series of fiction books this side of the Dark Ages (depending on whether you count The Odyssey and The Iliad and what have you), I didn't get the "millenium hand and shrimp" reference. Shame on me. :(

Was it one of those books dealing with The Watch?

No one's really tried with thie thread; but anyway, here's one (flagged by Jeph).  Also this.

EDIT - not a single person has noticed (to comment) that the first of those is Douglas Adams, not Terry Pratchett; I must have been having a brain-off day.

Aw, I didn't notice, although I read the majority of Pratchett's books.
Well, I'm probably just too used to it.
