Warhammer/Warhammer 40k Stuff
« on: 18 Apr 2013, 07:43 »

Hey guys I noticed a couple of posts about Warhammer and Warhammer 40k amongst other GW games. Just gunna post a few pics of some of my better painted models, as well as some of my favorite conversions, these models are from lots of different armies.
Perhaps my favorite army is my Imperial Guard, with over 15 tanks and more unbuilt, they make up the largest army I can field and have some of my favorite models, My 3 different Vanquisher Tank destroyer variants and a converted model of an Executioner Plasma tank.
My favorite model overall though is the rather large marine with the jump pack, he was my first ever conversion and is made from an inquisitor scale model to be used as a Daemon Prince for my chaos Emperors Children army named Pinky, he has seen many changes over the years, has a jump pack made out of a landspeeder and has earned his place in many an armys nightmares around here.

I've never done any Warhammer stuff, but having worked on WWII scale models for a few months, that is seriously impressive. What do you use to lay down base flat colors?

i usually start with some sort of black undercoat and paint the base colours by hand, if its too large a model i usually use a spray gun of some sort
