I'm not REALLY new...
« on: 12 Aug 2011, 10:03 »

But I haven't posted here in a few years. I'm tired of the other forums I usually post on, so I'll try this again for a while.

I don't really remember anyone in particular who used to post here, so I don't expect anyone to remember me either.

a brief "about me"

Marvel Comics were my first love at 12 years old.
Then punk rock at 16.
Then left wing politics at 18.
Then craft beer and indie rock at 22.
Then "literary fiction" and "post-modern literature" at around 26 (but I hate those terms)

Lately I've been really into more grown-up graphic novels. Not like Vertigo stuff, I mean I love Preacher, Fables, Watchmen, etc, but I'm more interested in stuff by guys like Harvey Pekar, Jason Lutes, Adrian Tomine, Joe Ollmann.
Broken hearts are for assholes. Are you an asshole?

Herb Alpert?

I loved  those album covers...
