OK, reference time for the old guy?  I remember my kids watching a cartoon with a kid who could become a ghost... but who are the other ones?

Is this funny, weird, or just fucked up?

No clue on the guys with the gizmos, but I used to watch this cartoon.

Then it stopped airing.

It's Sam and Dean from Supernatural. They hunt ghosts and all kinds of monsters.

I watched Danny Phantom. The fanbase annoyed the hell out of me. So much shipping.

These are cool but the cheap shiny fabric makes me sad. Like, if you're gonna go to the effort to make a cartoon-realistic Belle gown, use some pretty brocade or something, not freakin poly crap. It looks like a kid's $10 Halloween costume.

Me too, and I nearly posted a pic of her in the role myself, but it wasn't cosplay.

A friend of mine from high school loves cosplay, special orders all of her costumes and wigs, worked for Disney. I think she does a pretty good job  :-)

I don't think she's listening, Jace.

Besides, Alice isn't a princess either.  But then again, perhaps that's why she's getting noogied.

And I am not objecting to Tinkerbell being added to this picture.

At least, not that Tinkerbell, and certainly not from that angle...

Actually, if you look closely, most of the dresses there are of the 'sexy' variety. Note the short skirts and/or extra cleavage on Belle, Aurora, Snow White, and Cinderella. Also, Ariel appears to be wearing hotpants.

As far as I know, the person cosplaying as Alice is the artist of the fanart and the princess outfits were designed by a friend of hers. IIRC the person who designed them is dressed as Tinkerbell in the photo, who was included because it was around the Tinkerbell film getting released.

For those who don't know (which I am assuming is everyone here that's not from the UK) the Daily Mail is an exercise in fiction.
Essentially, the Daily Mail is what happens when journalists give up any pretence of credibility, and decide that rather than even attempting to report actual events, they just start writing dystopian science fiction. I advise that if you ever somehow manage to force your way through a Daily Mail article, just walk away and forget what you've read - chances are nothing you've read will even remotely resemble the truth.

"Innocent"?
There are innocent people left in the world? I mean, past the age of 3-5... Wow. I thought more than 30 seconds on the Internet or 5 seconds on Google Images would crush that straight away.
Especially one that likes Disney Princesses.

Tell me after you hear it. It would scare me only from wearing a warm costume among uncivilized children at DisneyWorld. But I think I'm safe.

Hmm. That description reminded me of the following exchange, possibly a bit outdated (from "Yes, prime minister"):

Hacker: Don't tell me about the press. I know exactly who reads the papers: the Daily Mirror is read by people who think they run the country; The Guardian is read by people who think they ought to run the country; The Times is read by people who actually do run the country; the Daily Mail is read by the wives of the people who run the country; the Financial Times is read by people who own the country; The Morning Star is read by people who think the country ought to be run by another country; and The Daily Telegraph is read by people who think it is.

Sir Humphrey: Prime Minister, what about the people who read The Sun?

Bernard: Sun readers don't care who runs the country, as long as she's got big tits.

Eh? So, what, a centre-parting is American?  Even some members of the US armed forces apply the Leroy Jenkins model to themselves.

Maybe you will, too.

I only just discovered it a few days ago. In a (largely furry) chatroom I frequent, there's a person who goes by Finland, and they don't talk; they just post reaction pics that are all taken from Finland's face in SatW. It's beautiful.
