We went camping for my birthday. Here is me after having some cake and eating it too:

My buddy's wife likes bubbles, so she made this rig with two sticks, some string, and a weight. You dip it into a big bucket of bubble stuff (her own formula), use the sticks to open and close the string, and with a little practice, can create gigantic bubbles. It was intense.

I feel like it's time to explain as much of my family as I can with one shot. A wedding shot.

This is several members of my family, from left to right:

My grandmother, my cousin Cody, my aunt Debbie, my cousin Jessica, and the groom, my cousin Chip. Notice Chip's teeth. None of them are real. This is because Chip drinks beer constantly - even at his own wedding vows - and never brushes his teeth. On the far right, you'll notice a John Deere tractor. More on that later.

What you cannot see in this picture, is that this ceremony is taking placing at the local gun club. Neither can you see the cherry picker, which they said their actual vows on. Neither can you see the truck in which they cooked the chicken for the ceremony - by wrapping it in foil and putting it on the engine, letting the heat cook it through.

What you can see is my cousin. Why, yes, those ARE shotgun shells with flowers in them. The tractor? Why, the theme of the wedding was "John Deere". Note the green dress, and the green and yellow balloons. After the wedding was over, they drove home in this tractor.

This is a summary of my family, in one picture.

Edit: I found a picture of the bride's bouquet, felt I had to share.

A summer full of weddings, here is but one, and unfortunately doesn't involve tractors, trucker hats or guns. But there IS a pretty cool frame thing in this garden. (Both the bride and groom's first names begin with "g")

Me and the beautiful lady of my life. Oh yeah, big pavilion/gazebo thing too. This was a pretty swanky wedding reception!

Totally. All the punk squats we played at gave us amazing food. That's also why I love it each time we play in Ungdomshuset in Copenhagen, especially on days where Crustina from Nuclear Death Terror is head of the kitchen.

Paella could certainly be filled with langoustines and oysters!
I was watching a Food Network show where someone was just trying all kinds of different paellas from across Spain, and one guy was cooking in a big paellera over a fire and when he had combined everything he took a big twig of rosemary, lit it on fire with the flame, then tossed it on top of the paella and closed the lid so it would just slowly smoke into everything.
That is what I want to do with paella some day.
