Thanks!

I can honestly say that's the first time someone has ever told me they love my hair. Although I can't really tell if you're joking (not that it would hurt my feelings). It's just a standard military 'high & tight' although I have a habit of pushing the maximum length for the top. They won't let me do a mohawk D:

Sir, you are looking good. ^_^

Decided I might as well show something of myself. So here you go, my Halloween costume! (Yes, I know it's a little late. I'm the guy in the middle)

There's an old house in town, overlooking the bay. Local rumour has that it's haunted.

I added a bit to my costume before Halloween proper.  I didn't get a pic of it all together, but it is as above, plus these leggings:

I love them enough that I sort of want to just wear them when I am not dressed as Ursula.

I've ended up going through a bunch of my old pictures. So, huge post incoming.

at ten:

at eleven:

I was wearing fezzes before fezzes were cool.

At twelve I got glasses and a cat which I named Awwdabooboo:

the next few years resulted in me wearing a lot of black and being awkward and tall:

I wore flip flops a lot. More than anyone ever should:

I found a car at some point:

Just a few days after I turned 16. My mother threw me out of the house; this is me in a greyhound station.

I ended up moving back to Tennessee after that.

I lost weight after moving back to New York around seventeen. I tried to spend time with family:

I was in a band at some point.

At some point, I just ended up looking sad in every picture. I was still living with my father.

I cut my hair off, and started living as a girl just after my 20th birthday.

I lost about 80 pounds all in all.

I moved to Washington, where I grew my hair out again.

I got stabbed in the face not too long ago, and then in a fit of drunken pique, I cut my hair off. Results!

I'm turning 22 in two weeks. The idea terrifies me.

It's really lovely to see the progression through your life; thanks for sharing it with us.

Don't worry about 22 - it's not that different from 21 or even 23.

because she's a crazy bitch

she hears voices she attributes to god (which apparently told her I was going to kill her in her sleep), and looking back at how all of my interactions with her have gone I have zero doubt in my mind that she's borderline. she's done the same thing to my brother and also to my step-father.

I don't talk to her anymore.

ETA: I meant to caption this but posted and ran off and forgot. I've started wearing makeup again for the first time in a long time; I got tired of people asking me why my face was red. It's rosacea or something, I dunno. I do feel better about myself when I wear makeup though. The shirt is one I designed for our poker company, pretty pleased with it. Also, this is one of the first pics of me in a long time that I've felt okay with posting as-is. I used to Photoshop myself down a size or two. Losing thirty pounds has made a world of difference.

I didn't say I feel old, I said that the idea of getting older terrifies me. I'm young. I recognise this fact as true. But that doesn't stop the years from having passed by so goddamn fast that I feel like I'm hurtling towards death, that I could die at any moment, and I still haven't done a single thing I'm really proud of. I feel like I've barely survived, that I've somehow managed to half-crawl, half-drag myself to where I am today, and it can all be taken away in a single moment.

...wait, am I having a midlife crisis? I'm too young for this shit!

Our seats were kinda pretty good, but that's because there were maybe 300 people there. Albany, I am disappoint.

Albany is usually desolate for AHL games (it's a HUGE arena for a minor league team), and a Monday afternoon game didn't help facts at all.

btw, nice R2D2 mickey hat!
