In case you haven't figured it out, I am a RABID Milwaukee Brewers fan.
You may have heard, in some of the news stories around the team, that the players are doing something called "beast mode". When one of the players does something important - driving in a key run, making a great play to end the inning, whatever - they put their arms out wide and make like they're trying to scare the onlooker. It's sometimes accompanied by a loud "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH" scream, especially when it's done by our CF Nyjer "Tony Plush" Morgan.
The whole thing apparently started when our star 1B, Prince Fielder, noted his love for a particular character from an animated movie: Sulley from the Disney/Pixar movie Monsters Inc. Sulley apparently has the same stance when he goes into the "real world" to scare children.
Of course, Pixar was started as a joint project with Disney, led by one... Steve Jobs.
I would suspect that, if Steve ever heard of this before he died, he would be greatly amused.
I hope that the guys at Pixar are taking notes, though - maybe they should get Prince to voice a character in one of their upcoming movies?
