From Jeph's twitter about an hour ago: "No idea when we'll have power back. No comics, obviously, until we do." Obviously I hope they get power back in his neighborhood soon, and not just because I'm going through QC withdrawals like I do every weekend. Hope everyone's staying warm.

1. You know you have been reading this web-comic for a long time when you are not surprised that Hannelore would be in Marten & Faye's apartment. And sleeping easily.

2. I also would approve of a "blackout" series of strips starring various duos &/or trios of the QC cast. Suggestions would include...

a.) Dora, Raven, Sven (or substitute Tai for Raven)

b.) Dale, Marigold, Tai (and change Raven for Tai here) ["GenDale Ikari's" glasses would be an easy draw, I suppose]

c.) Penelope, Pizza Girl, Wil(?) [Penelope: "She's right here in front of you, damn it! For god's sake, someone get a flashlight!"]

d.) Momo, Pintsize, Winslow

e.) Steve, Cosette, & ???

f.) Randy, Shelby, Yelling Bird

3. I also agree with Is it cold in here?, Jeph is indeed a trooper to put out a comic even with snow and blackout. Makes me very appreciative of the effort he puts into QC. Would that I could afford to splurge upon more QC merchandise (besides the QC Volume 1 & 2 I have). But I would suggest patronizing the QC store for those who also appreciate Jeph's dedication to his craft and have not yet bought their own QC volumes.

4. This also gives Jeph the right to tell future generation web-comics how, "back in his day, he had to trudge through snow, and had no electricity or internet connection...and he still managed to put out a web-comic on his own schedule!"

5. @Andy147... I just looked at #2046 again seeing your post. I think Hanners' "zzz's" are actually upside down 222's. But that could be a work-weary misinterpretation rather than an Archive Jockey observation

. Plus Jeph did this strip at someone else's house & via his laptop rather than his standard array, I believe.

From the position of their eyes, it looks like they are all sitting together in a row, likely on Marten and Faye's couch. If Hanners is sleeping curled up on her side with her feet towards Faye, it would be easy to kick her in the upper chest upon waking.

It's not bad compared to other fandoms. I was just reading the other day about the fandom around the show Supernatural. The more wackadoo fans of that show are convinced the two male leads are a couple, and that the recent announcement of the wife of the one being pregnant is horrible, because they're bringing a poor, innocent child into their deception. If there's anyone at that level of nuttiness about QC they sure don't hang around here.

We commonly send PMs rather than calling people out publicly, especially for new members, so yes, some stuff is dealt with before you realise. OTOH, it can occasionally mean that we get reports about a post that we have already reacted to.
