Hellos. I'm Kat. In the middle of binging intensely on qc. Up to 820 at the moment. Wanted to say hi!

So far what really strikes me, is recognizing all the places in NoHo. I'm 10 mintues from there and its really trippy to see it be the source of a super popular web-comic like this. Particularly in panel 2 and 3 of 816. I saw it and wanted to write about how weird and awesome it is. I've probably seen Jeph and not even realized it.

Also seeing as I just played a show at the Pearl Street Night club a couple months ago. Can't believe I didn't hear about QC sooner.

Also in case anyone is curious (Warning: plug incoming), my band is called Krakatoa. We're a local Death metal band that I'm lead guitarist for. Anyone that follows the western Ma metal scene might know us. we placed 3rd in the 2011 Metalympics. Our friends Western Massacre took first. It was a good time.

I mention it because I hear Jeph likes to sit around and play metal. Figured It'd be worth mentioning.

Anyways It's nice to meet you all! I'll be back and join the regular forums once my binge is complete and my withdrawal starts.

Under the name "Deathmøle" (Marten's band, of course); he also does a few projects under other names (e.g. "Dystynt Höllërin", "DJ Tai Fighter", and even his own name).  There are several Deathmøle albums you can download (link to his last.fm on the comic page, or poke around his Tumblr or even his old Livejournal for individual tracks or links to Bandcamp). He occasionally visits the BAND part of this forum with a picture of a new guitar, but he doesn't join in any music discussions these days.

I was friends with death metal people before- it was a very interesting experience.
Lead vocalist was kind of an ass though.
