Re: J-dub's post, I remember when "White and Nerdy" came out, Chamillionaire (the guy behind "Ridin'") put Weird Al's take on his MySpace (which was still a thing at the time), which I remember thinking was a class act on his part.

Unlike Coolio who got all hot and bothered about "Amish Paradise" - even though the actual song wasn't his (it was a sample of Stevie Wonder's "Pastime Paradise").

I remember seeing him - either on Carson, Letterman or SNL - playing "another one rides the bus" on the accordian while a friend (his "band") beatboxed and banged on the accordian case for percussion.

I'd heard the song bfore and never realized he hadn't had an actual band behind him... it was quite a sound they got.

If you play that song, that achy breaky song, I might blow up my radio.

Was it Dave Barry who quoted it as saying
"You can tell my lips, or you can tell my hips,
That you're going to dump me if you can,
But don't you tell my liver, it never would forgive her,
It might blow up and circumcise this man"

Remote is ready,
Eyes wide, palms are sweaty
There's Flintstones on the TV already
Wilma and Betty
No virgin to channel surfing
and I'm HD rated
So I flip.
Garbage is all I'm getting!

I loved "Party in the CIA" and "Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me" From his new album. Polkarama was amazing as well.
