Right now, I'm listening to some old RUSH albums on the phone, and for drives to/from work I have You Can't Do that On Stage Anymore with Frank Zappa in the stereo.

Quoting the first line of this song, "Something's wrong and I don't know what".

EDIT: Actually, come to think of it, I'm also listening to the original.

As a point of interest ... does anyone actually take the trouble of checking these videos for hidden gems or are all of you so knowledgeable about music that you don't have to?

Thanks!

Today's theme for me has been local music.

I also like that this band's name used to reference my favorite novel, but it doesn't anymore.

So I bought a ticket to see this band the day before I came down with my ulcer. Going to a club show and not being able to drink? What's the point? I thought about giving my ticket away, but the show wasn't sold out so I couldn't actually sell it and I really just wanted to get out of the apartment. My one wish was for this band not to suck. They didn't suck. They're actually the best local band I've heard yet.

Also their lead singer is just about the most attractive man I've ever seen, but that's beside the point.

Particular style that of this pianist / EDM producer. Specially since he's like, 12 (actually 19, but started some time ago). His song "The Clockmaker" actually sold me on dubstep (when it's well made). This one's the first look into an EP he releases next tuesday.

So apparently I'm 15 now, instead of 21. Not that I care too much.

These dudes are from Reinosa, btw. Just 75km away from where I'm sitting. A friend knows them and gave me the inside info on their breakup some 3 years ago.

I'm pretty mesmerized by the raw vocal power of AZEDIA's vocalist. Not the best voice or the biggest range, but it's still impressive.

Ever completely forget about a song you used to love years ago, and then rediscover it by chance? Because I'm having that experience right now.

Seeing as I'm still in the excited/bragging stage of having been cast, I feel obligated to say that the reason I'm listening to this is because I'm the lead in a local production of this show and this is one of the solos.
