Oh of course not, but I was basing it on Nick Cave's interviews around the subject.
It is a good one, but he only has one that I would consider close to being bad and that's Nocturama, curiously the last Blixa record if I'm not mistaken - and I disagree that his days in the band were the best. I actually think that since 2004, Cave has been in somewhat of a renaissance. As I said, he's never made a bad record, but his most recent clutch (Abattoir Blues/The Lyre Of Orpheus, Grinderman, Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!, Grinderman 2, Push The Sky Away) is the most inspired he has ever been.
I do miss the presence of Blixa, and Mick Harvey actually, there is a slight lack of guitar-y-ness that he used to have a lot more of, but honestly? I think he's better than he's ever been.
