QC D&D Characters.
« on: 22 Feb 2012, 23:12 »

So we have Marigold as a Barbarian, Faye as a Rogue, Marten as a Bard and Hanners as a Cleric. What character classes do you think other QC characters would get?

Dora -- Definitely a wizard/sorcerer. I remember a comic where Marten and Hanners are going through a battle scenario and Dora uses Magic Missile. Maybe one of you archive-fu people can find it.
Penny -- Maybe a paladin?
Raven -- Some kind of spellcaster.
Sven -- The bard that sleeps with everything.
Cosette -- No fuckin' clue.

Welcome, new person!

Pintsize would be a Chaotic something, but what?

I think Dora is more of a sorcerer.  Not studious enough to be a wizard.
Penny... probably takes the loremaster prestige class.  Maybe even a wizard?
Sven?  Ranger.  Favored enemy?  Blonds.

Also, is it just me, or is Hanners wearing the classic white mage's robe from Final Fantasy.  I mean, it's fitting... especially for a cleric.

EDIT: *DISREGARD THIS I SUCK  :psyduck:*

Anyway, I now want an entire side-strip/filler-arc/whatever of the gang playing D&D. But not Pintsize on DM. Maybe Will, or Faye (I could totally see her as an out-to-get-the-players DM).

Uh.

I play all kinds of characters in roleplaying games - and I really dont see why the QC cast would behave differently ?

Some more characters that need to be party members:

Steve = Barbarian

Wil = Bard

Tai* = Thief

Also, props to Jeph for the Knights of the Dinner Table reference on the Topatoco page for the print. Damn gazebos are hella hard to take down sometimes  :-D

* Edited per post below this one. My bad.

Oi! Tai is not Thai. As far as we know, anyway.

Pintsize, regardless of class or alignment, would definitely be That Guy.

Pintsize would be a Chaotic Neutral and/or Evil halfling. Basically Belkar from Order of the Stick, in both size and temperament.

Pintsize would be that guy that attacks the Gazebo.

Just because.

Akronnick, I can think of no more appropriate steed for a Knight Of The Dickbroom than a foul-mouthed, perpetually shouting, lust-crazed bird with a scrotum hanging from its chin and a distinctive cry of "Gobble gobble gobble".   --Tergon

Cosette would be a thief.  A very, very bad and clumsy thief.  Never makes her hide in shadows throw, because she's always kicking something or bumping into the wall.

I feel like the Roomba would be the Gazebo; an NPC that wasn't supposed to get involved but turns out to get the better of the PC. :-P
