I can't hide things in the boob area of anything because I don't have enough boob to fit anything in without it being noticeable. This gets annoying when I want to dress up but still need to carry ID and cellphone.

Senior prom, the dress I wore had a corset-like bodice and I was fascinated by the "gap" and proceeded to shove as many cell phones and wallets I could find down my dress. (My friends gave these things to me, I didn't steal them! Also they encouraged it.) I think I got 5 or 6 cell phones, a couple of keys, and a wallet. That sounds like a lot, but not really, because it wasn't laced tightly as it had a halter, so the gap was kind of big. But it was kind of funny getting everything back OUT.

Girlfriend of mine used to use the gap in her rubber dress to hold her beer while she lighted her cigarette. It was a sophisticated time, to be sure.

I wish I had pictures.

When I am drunk I hold drinks between my boobs. This is great in hot bars/parties/clubs. It is a convenient, cooling, logical place to store them.  Other people think it is funny and since I usually have a drink with a straw people love the novelty of drinking from a drink held this way.  Which is great, unless a group of friends finishes your drink for you while giggling about it.

Sometimes I wonder what cultural reference I am, and if I'm actually obscure enough to warrant my title. Then I walk outside and gleefully kill little children's hopes and dreams. I think I might need some help.

Before then it was run on pure pretension and rage.

And Tommy's libido

Sometimes during open mic I wonder what would happen if I just flipped out on somebody and kicked them out for "ruining a perfectly good song"

They don't even like being disturbed in an A' level Chemistry lesson by a bad rendition (it always seems to be a bad renditition, never a good one) of whatever it was that they were playing when I was still at college. Ode To A Small Lump Of Green Putty I Found In My Armpit One Midsummer Morning arranged for howler monkey and angry cats, I think.

A random thought from an Icelandic news service:

(background: they're just finishing up a music festival, which coincided with a wind storm notable even by Icelandic standards)

This just in from the Baggalútur news service:

"The Meterological office and Civil Protection have issued a warning due to the storm sweeping the country. Special caution is advised due to flying hipsters in the Reykjavík City Centre as a result of the Iceland Airwaves music festival. There have been several incidents of hipsters being swept into the air and blown long distances - often without being aware of it, themselves. People are being asked to be on the alert because, although hipsters are often rather small and puny, it can be painful if they they hit you on the head."

I don't think I'm very good at essay writing but the lecturers like my writing style and I come up with seemingly-irrelevent-but-I-justify-them-well points so they let me get away with it.

Generally an instructor's more interested in whether you caan defend your point than if it's relevant.

After all, they are/were grad students.  Arguing irrelevent points is how they got their degree...

And now all I can think of is the Goon Show, "That's not irrelevant, that's a hippopotamus!"

Why is there a stigma against owning too many cats versus owning too many dogs? If you have too many cats, you're obviously crazy and attention starved. But apparently owning many dogs means that you have a compassionate and friendly heart.

What?

It doesn't make sense to me either. The same goes for ferrets. Some people think I'm crazy for just having two.

Ferrets are also fuzzy, warm and love receiving/ giving attention! They tend to have a few more anger issues if you don't give them attention early on, but then so would a dog. It's just a matter of taking care of your pets properly.

Exactly. My boys are (mostly) well behaved and very sweet. And much smaller than a dog! I also have two cats and apparently four pets in total means I'm just fucking insane.

I mean, I am, but it has nothing to do with my pets.

No one cares about fish. :-P And bunnys are so passive that they only count as one up until the point where you get 9+. Then they count as four. Again, I have no idea why...

After my ex girlfriends rabbit was neutered, all it ever did was sit in the middle of it's um, "enclosed pasture" (can't find the right word!), and eat, once in a while. He just got paralyzed from not being able to get his rabbit-bone on. I still think of that whenever I hear about how someone's pet is about to get neutered. It's a cruel world.

I'm tracking it online. I just like going out though and watch people yell at the TV. Funnier than watching people yell at football. But since I'm not leaving the house, I can get drunk as shit if Romney wins and I don't even have to drive home!

And then yeah, I'm probably going to drink for the next 4 years too. Obama - keeping us sober!

I voted.  So did my wife and my 19 year old daughter, for the first time.

I asked the poll ladies (all retirees from the neighborhood, we all know each other by sight - one is Mrs Meier, Oscar the dachshund's owner) how the turnout was this year.

"About twice as many as usual, so far!"

0_o

Fuck.  In this neighborhood, that doesn't bode well for Obama.

Or any of the democratic candidates...

Why can't I fit my fat hand in the salsa jar?!

It's a very clever conspiracy, apparently it makes the salsa easier to pour out without causing a mess, but I know better... the designers are twig-like people like myself that thought it would be funny to WATCH THE WORLD BURN.

All you have to do is turn the universe inside out, and then the salsa will be on the outside of the jar.

Although what it doesn't show is the forum link in a sub-header. Does that happen for everyone?
