When did I get so *good at writing?  I remember struggling to write 1,000 or 1,500 word essays, and now I struggle to keep under 2,000 word limits.  All those nights staring at a screen trying to craft just 3 or 4 more sentences to get to the minimum page limit, now I can't figure out how to craft sentences to convey enough information without eating up my space.  Hell, I regularly write replies here which break 500 words, and sometimes things which could be stand alone essays  (another once coming for the critical thinking thread after the semester :s sorry y'all)

I don't know if says that I am more confident in my opinions, ideas an analyses, or that my writing style has just become loose and rambling...

So many reasons. There are plushophiliacs, baby furs, the ones that are convinced that they truly are their chosen animal or character, the ones that are convinced that their soul is truly their chosen animal or character... and generally furries are very adamant about spreading this information and insisting they are not weird at all.

My only real contribution to this topic is an ever-present irritation at people's tendencies to generalize "furry" into a single broad category. For some reason, everyone I run into seems to think Furry == Zoophiliac, and anything animal related also == Furry. It's rather annoying when people can't (won't) distinguish between someone who appreciates Kemono or Anthros, and someone who identifies it as a sexual kink.
Personally, I see the sexual kink as more or less equivalent to other ones. Its just as weird as Scat, S/M, BDSM, and anything else out there. Everyone has their eccentricities after all.

Yeah I'm pretty much at a point where consensual sexual kinks have near impossible odds to weird me out. My interest in Body Modification killed the chance of pretty much anything else weirding me out.

That said, Furries strike me as being as normal and as pushy as vegetarians or train spotters. Not weird. Not very pushy. Exceptions do exsist of course ... but whatever. Be furry. Spot trains. Don't eat meat. Whatever.

Oh absolutely, just because they're weird (to me) doesn't mean I'm going to attempt to do anything about it. I have no problem with anyone doing whatever the hell they want as long as it doesn't affect me in a negative way.

And I wouldn't consider most of the "intense" body mods, like those ackblom posted, to be mundane... they're pretty weird. But I also think they're awesome. Weird is not a bad word, to me.

Then again, it takes dedication to something you love to be willing to wash around the toilet every time you go.


Also, according to wikianswers, women pee on average 8 times a day, while men pee 7. There is, though, great variation. Also, one study showed an average of "5 voids per 1 litre urine output", which seems a bit little to me, but then again, I don't think I pee more than five times, so...

It doesn't take a piercing/mod, sometimes, for the stream to go unexpectedly 20-30 degrees to left or right. I hate it when that happens!

And it was actually informative for me, because the humor acknowledges that it's an "issue," one that others think about.
I've rarely mentioned it to other guys that I often sit when I'm home. I've thought that if I were Native American, I might have been called "Sits-to-pee" as I aged.
Away from home is a different thing, and in a public place I'm still confused about guys who skip the urinal and go into a stall, shut the door, and stand in front of the bowl to pee. Obviously, not always raising the seat. What? They're modest?

One of my exes wanted a penis piercing and his biggest reason for not getting it is that he refused to sit down to pee. Despite the fact that basically no one (except maybe a girlfriend/boyfriend) sees you doing it, many guys are really self-conscious about it.

One of my guy friends will always go into the stall in a public bathroom, use a toilet seat cover, and sit - just to pee. Where he stands at home. I can't wrap my head around that one. He has shy bladder issues so I get why he'd go into the stall but why sit?

Lastly I would prefer if guys would just sit. Too many guys I know just pee without any direction or effort (it seems)... many messy toilets have shown me that.

I read numerous things on the internet about peeing while standing without a penis and am trying to master it.  Because of the steep learning curve involved I only do it when I have to pee and am in the shower.  I know this is not the confessions thread but:

I used to pee in the changing room shower after PE class when I was 12. The other kids would complain about the smell but no one knew it was me so I kept on doing it for a year or so. This has likely affected my mental development pretty significantly. Dunno exactly how, though, as I always sit down peeing now.
