Next time I'm home I may bring back my big speakers, although I think the jack is bent but I'll get it fixed. Blare some of the Bare Naked Ladies I downloaded on a whim, which turned out to be a really good choice.

I'm sorry I've spent a day whining about my neighbour today but I've had little else to be at... Actually I've had quite a bit to be at but I guess I'd much rather be pissy.

This is a bit more fragrant than actual grass. But I love the smell of freshly mowed grass anyway. And dirt. And then I also added some patchouli so I guess I'm a gothy hippy?

Anyway I realized that drinking Sobe "juice" makes my throat feel weird, like it did when I first drank a super cold drink after I had my tonsils removed (last year). That was much more painful, but this is like, an echo of that. No clue why.

Body odour and dirt are two very, very, very distinct smells. Fresh dirt has a gloriously deep beauty to it - especially when it's alive, moist, aerated.

Hey! I only moved to a city when I turned 18! Until then I have always lived in semi-rural villages, and my mum's house is in the middle of nowhere. I do, however, wash frequently.

You could get the smell of dirt by rolling in mud.

Mud doesn't smell the same as fresh dirt from a forest floor. If it eases your mind I didn't spend very much on the perfume, it was like $6.

Oh, I wasn't feeling that you shouldn't have bought it, just intrigued by the idea of selling that smell. I do love the smell of leaves actually.

Jwhouk, the defintion of "the middle of nowhere" varies depending what country you're in. My mum lives about as rurally as it is possible to live in England, which is to say not very rurally at all. Parts of Scotland are more rural, especially in the highlands.

I mean, I feel old all the time too - it's all relative. My boyfriend is three years younger than me and that does make me feel old, but it's more to do with the fact that I'm about to graduate and he only just matriculated than the actual age gap.
