Fuck makeup, man. I am terrible at applying it. But I love it... but then I look like some kind of cheap whore or a very masculine man who let his toddler put makeup on him. It's sad.

at some point I went from "I don't wear makeup because I'm terrible at it" to being excellent at makeup.

I could make a make up thread for all the people who put on makeup. I have a few tutorials I could put on there too, mainly for drag, but I do have an obsession with nail polish.

I can do makeup pretty well for me. I have a go-to conservative eye make up, and lots of fun colors for going out. It is only when I try to get fancy with the eyeliner that there is a problem, and the problem is that both eyes look fine, just not the same as each other. Some of the problem is the mirror I use and my nearsightedness mean that long eyeliners hit the mirror when I do the left eye. Investing in a free-standing mirror would probably fix most of my issues.

I'm the same with eyeliner not matching but I think it's more just lack of practice. Sometimes I get the left eye perfect and the right eye just won't look okay, depending on which I do first.

I think make-up can be fun to play with and dress up, particular for photos but I'd rather take photos of people who actually want to model.
Also I almost never wear make-up and used to constantly get crap for it, even in secondary school, by teachers, where you weren't meant to be allowed to wear make-up. Although they may have just wanted to move me off dying my hair.

I would definitely read any kind of how-to's people came up with. I have fun with painting my nails but I feel like I'm making it up as I go along when it comes to face-makeup. I haven't ever really figured out how to use concealer/foundation, but I can do my eyes up pretty well. My eyes are different shapes though, so it's uneven no matter what I do.

Tommy Hilfiger. I think I got these like six years ago? I have other glasses but they're decidedly femme rather than androgynous so I don't wear them much.

yeah...those actually help me see but I don't like how they look so I don't wear them. that feels kind of shallow but oh well

Couldn't find the one from a few years ago where I was a 90 year old mythical chinaman. There was a fair amount of latex, a wig and fake facial hair involved...

Don't beat yourself up, you look rather cute!

I used to have a pair of glasses like those in that picture, but my dog ate them. I don't know if I'd pay for Hilfiger glasses though...lenses are expensive to begin with, and I'm blind as a batman.

I think I would be a good dictator and/or cult leader. I am articulate and charismatic. I am passionate and principled, but also insecure and vain so as time went on I could find myself squashing dissent in ways I never thought I would as the sycophants around me prop up my ego and ensure me I am justified.
