I think they're both suffering from the same illness that makes some mothers dress their toddlers in ridiculously fancy dresses and get pictures taken. Seriously, I thought Marigold was going to be holding a camera in the last panel!

I think they're a step short of cute overload, and when the hats go on, the camera will come out, and Momo will begin charging up...

Okay, this is officially my favourite QC comic ever. Can't... breathe...

I think Occams Meataxe had a point in the streaming thread, they do definitely seem to be channelling the doctors from Oglaf. Knowing that Jeph is a big fan of Oglaf, this seems quite plausible. That said, I'm not sure even Jeph knows exactly what he's doing here. Only that it is lulzy and lulzy is good.

While I was kind of amused by yesterdays "But I LIKE the little hats' bit from Winslow..while this is adorable it's also REALLY weird. It's not that I dislike it or anything, just that I have this weird feeling like I heard enough of a joke to know that I'm missing the essential part.

Why was Momo so tolerant? She's pushed hard on other occasions to be treated with dignity as a human. She didn't want to be in an Izumi-04 chassis.

Does she like playing dressup, or does she think her dignity isn't affected by little hats?
