Perhaps it is not Mars, but Burroughs' Barsoom, as used for a dodge by Heinlein.

"Barsoom" would also have made a great Don Martin sound effect. Perhaps the sound of an indie boy crashing into a bulkhead in the free-fall section of a space station belonging to a mad scientist.

I like how people are focused on the gravity of said beverage and not the fact that it didn't care for Marten's joke.

Also, PRIDE ORB apparently doesn't say things you are proud of, but things you should be proud of.

Note, for when Jeph is feeling more awake: There is a superfluous "the" in PRIDE ORB'S speech. Nothing urgent, just... it's there.

Also, when I first noticed that the PRIDE ORB was pink, why was the first thing I thought of "Gay Pride"?
