Just had a thought:
If Emily invited people last week (real time) for a party possibly happening this week (real time) it would be probable that at least a week (if not two) has passed in QC-time over the weekend.
Because who invites someone on "thursday" for a party on "tuesday". So to speak. In my experience it would be minimum of a week prior.

I find that thought interesting. °O

The party's on "this" Saturday, so whatever day it was when Emily gave him the invitation, it was almost certainly less than a week prior.

Looking at who's gathered, I think it's pretty safe to assume they're getting ready to leave for the party. Marten invited Faye, which means Angus by proxy, and I assume Momo invited Marigold.

Not so sure on that. If anyone, it'd be Emily wearing some funky swimsuit. Though, there are two ways an Emily suit can go. Crazy 1920's conservative, or anime shout-out skimpy.

We've seen Hanners in a form fitting dress before and short shorts and a tank top. I think she'd wear a bikini or possibly a more swim competition style.

Now, given her neurosis, I don't think she'd enter lake water without a hazmat suit on.

Well I'd imagine it's probably late summer and the intimation is that Emily's parents are loaded so the lake house is probably in the Berkshires. So I'd say warm enough for a pool party but the lake, if it's anything like the mountain lakes in the Southern Appalachians, stays cold year round and swimming is only for the brave.
