intro things!
« on: 19 Nov 2012, 21:45 »

Hi.  I'm new.  I don't know what to say here, but I feel like it's only good form to say, officially, "Hi, I'm new!"

I'm a 20-something lady who likes video games, science fiction, poetry, and reading tasty recipes even though I know I'll never make them because my kitchen is a mess.  I have a cat, a husband, and insomnia.  And a bunch of other stuff, too, but that's my therapist's problem.

I just finished catching up with QC, and from my lurking, this seems like a cool place, so hi!

Got news for you Kugai, the Next Generation's been here for a good long while already...

Welcome!  All theoretical cooks are welcome here!

And now you have a place to hang out while waiting insomnaically for the comic to update...

Thanks!  I'm sort of at that point between "so tired zuuughhh" and "oh shit, I actually have to do things in two hours!"  But I have tons of theoretical delicious chili (I figure if you just imagine a recipe often enough, it will eventually be awesome.  that's how food works, right?)

I'm ok with being next gen as long as we're talking star trek and not saved by the bell or something.

Welcome! Now I'm not sure which generation I belong to in this forum. With all of these new people coming in over the past month, it's hard to tell.

So you have a cat and a husband, I assume both are housebroken?

The laws of space-time and how to shatter them without the universe police catching you.

Xenoanthropology has always been more my thing (though yeah, the name), but I did pass my Bowel Disruptor Proficiency course with flying colors.

And a few other things flying with that one, I'm sure.
