Hi everyone
« on: 22 Nov 2012, 22:14 »

I'm Bob. I am 23, a full time student, full time writer, and full time caregiver to three children. Don't ask how all that full timing works, as I'm not sure myself.

I came into QC on the recommendation of a friend at #1632. I was immediately impressed with the art, so I went back to the first strip and had a moment of "wait... wut?" Then I kept reading, and read through the entire archive in a day. Been following ever since, and, like many others, decided to register after Claire's status as a transwoman was revealed.

I like writing, reading, avoiding my homework until the last minute, music, comics, web comics, television shows based off of comics, movies based off of comics, avoiding romance like the plague, and very high quality hot chocolate.

I look forward to posting with all of you.

I write. I have four (kinda five) novels in the works. Lately I've taken a step back to plan, though... last time I wrote a novel without thorough planning, I produced 100k words of crap. So... I plan, I guess. I'm a little insane and decided that I would write a minimum of six rough drafts next year, so I need to iron out the details or I'll make myself go even more insane.

Other that that... I will watch Anime or Futurama. I will also replay old video games and never finish them. I get really far and then get bored and leave it for months, but when I come back I don't know what the hell I'm doing anymore, so I restart. I've logged hundreds of hours on FFXII and never finished it.

I also post about my insane plans and poor attention span on internet forums, apparently.

Hello, from also-newbie!

I've always liked writing, but I get way too critical on myself for creative stuff. It's cool you can handle the insanity.
Especially four at once, I'd probably mix up characters and stories.
Old video games, anime and futurama are all brilliant as well.

Hello, fellow newbie! I get majorly critical, too. I think the key is finding the right time to focus all that critical thought!

Thanks everyone! And hmm... I find that the people who feel the need to specify they won't plot my demise are in fact those most likely to do just that. But I won't hold it against you!

And Kugai... Shoujo-Ai fan, eh? We'll get along FINE.

Hi!

I was scrolling down and saw your avatar and signature and just about jumped out of my seat... How the hell did Randy get here?

Do I now know Yelling Bird's pain?

He's immortal - does that help?

He probably hops around on the keyboard until something recognizable as the human language (apparently english) pops up. *Shrugs* Hi Randy!

What, like you and your monkeys wrote Shakespear?

There's no evidence supporting that allegation.
