The Owl House
« on: 05 Sep 2022, 10:19 »

...so I guess I'm about 20 years removed from the target demo (and honestly, about 3,000 miles as well, even though the show is ostensibly set 200 miles from me), but I couldn't help but notice that the show didn't have a thread.  Short version, 14-year-old girl, Luz, accidentally gets dragged into Hell by a witch, enrolls in not!Hogwarts, and falls in love with a (female, since the show calls men "witches") witch, while a snakegirl takes her place in Connecticut (and Luz's mother accepts her - we see her eating cereal in snake form).

I'm trying to remember the name of an anime I watched a while ago with the exact same plot.

EDIT:

It was this film: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/129465-hells, adapted from this short manga: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hells_Angels_(manga)

OK, the plot is simpler - but it's a much shorter work.

It's a pretty good show that the rat is making speedrun it's last few seasons.

But, it's got some good rep for ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, CPTSD, anxiety disorders, and more.
