I think he was stringing together a bunch of psychobabble but unintentionally stated exactly what her problem was with Ruth- and it shocked and scared her  :-o

I was wondering why Walky was so desperate to get away from Sal, and then I remembered this argument.

Yeah about that argument, I do not think their parents feel Walky is whiter.  It seems more like Sal trying to rationalize why Walky is the favorite.  A sibling rivalry kind of thing.  Or at least that is my guess.  :-\

She needed to vent and he was the easiest target since Jason wasn't around.

S*P made me do a spit take. It's nice to see the Candy and Davan chemistry again, the mutual dread of other people really make for great friends even if they can't see each other very often...

I've been totally obsessing about Nimona lately, especially since the author has  confirmed we're reaching the final arch of the story. I'm still not quite over the art of it, especially in the last chapter.

DoA: poor Dina, she just can't catch a break. I wonder if Riley DeSanto is the first DoA character to make the backwards introduction into the Walkyverse? Everyone else except Dorothy started out as unique characters in the other Walkyverse comics...

GWS: wow, she has it bad for Josh! I really hope Clarice can articulate to him what she feels because she is really hurting for love.

well I do not think Amber knows he came out to Joyce.  But considering her recent freakout after parents day, I am sure this will not bode well for either of them....I am still waiting for Sal and Danny to walk into the cafeteria playing video games (or her storming out of the cafeteria after talking with Ethan and running into them).

Just to push Amber over the edge a bit more...

Been reading through Sam & Fuzzy the last days, really good comic! Sort of a mix between the personal drama of QQ and the crazy adventures of Sluggy Freelance, if you haven't read it. Pretty decent archive as well, started up in 2002. The newer comics consistently have long strips and good art, as well.

And, as a bonus, a certain Jeph has made several guest comics there. (There might even have been S&F guest comics here at QQ, without me recognizing them back when reading the archive)

I have to say that I have a few pet peeves that other webcomics seem to be bad about.

1. Starting a new plot and stopping, forcing people to either forget about the end or buy the web artist's crappy comic books.
2. Rattling the tipping jar three-fourths of the time and adding a sob story.
3. Time passes (more then a week) and there is no trace of the web artist or a new update.

Thankfully, Jeph doesn't do ANY of this (I don't mind his store ads to be honest).

she robbed a convenience store (which is why she was sent to boarding school), which is what prompted Amber to become a super hero (among other reasons).

Look at Walky's hair or her curly, parent pleasing hairdo during the Parents Weekend storyline...very similar.

IU seems to have pretty low admission standards if they let someone who robbed a convenience store in. Although her parents are pals with the Dean.

Holy carp, there's so much speculation on the first panel in today's DoA…

It probably is the robbery she told Danny about, being a traumatic experience which led to the creation of Amazi-Girl. Now many people suspect that Sal was involved in that robbery, as it was said she was sent to catholic school for holding up two convenience stores and the time she was sent there correlates with Amber's explanation of the robbery. Note the curly hair in panel one today, that might be Sal. Also note Ambers reaction to Sal in this comic.

Damn, if that's true, then Willis really made a two year foreshadowing.

Regarding today's comic: I don't want to say I called it, but, well, I called it.
