Sadly, he moved on from that storyline for the time being...on to more loose ends to tie up!

And that was hilarious in DoA how Joe just popped up with a sock when Sierra was booted for the Walky-sex. Of all the people to accept a sock from he is probably the last you would want to  :-D

So the current DoA storyline isn't that hilarious. Any interpretations of today's alt-text? I think it refers to Amber using her undisguised voice in the last panel, we can see it go from amazi-blue to Amber-white. I think she just "outed" herself to Danny and her Father.

Well, if her father is conscious.

I am not sure the title text is spoken and not thought.

Damn. I am not sure if she isn't going overboard with this.

It's internal monologue. It's also what he deserved. Hopefully this is enough to stop her from being Amazi-Girl so she can be normal, or at least cut back on the brutality and/or pettiness of her work.

DOA: I know Sal had a rough childhood, but she really doesn't remember the girl that stabbed through her hand?

So, Sal always wears a glove on her right hand. I went back to this comic and others where Sal isn't wearing the gloves she usually has, and her right hand is always behind her back or off-panel.

He's known that this would happen the whole time. DAAAAMMMMNNNN YYYYYYOOOOUUUUU WILLLLIISSSS!

So if Amber stabbed Sal, how did Amber avoid going to juvie along with Sal? Usually assault with a deadly weapon is taken fairly seriously.

Possible options:

A. Running like a motherfucker
B. The trial is the point at which Blaine's abuse comes out and he loses parental rights. The emotional abuse is considered a mitigating factor.
C. She didn't. We just haven't heard about it because Ethan wouldn't go blabbing about it and few others around IU would really know.

Definitely isn't A, since it occurred in front of two cops, and one of the cops pulled her off of Sal. Could be B or C, though.

To feed into B she also could of pleaded insanity and had to go to therapy for her father's abuse.

If anyone reads bobbins/scarygoround/bad machinery, I'm happy to see so much of the old crew, but so very, very sad that the boy and dark esther didn't make it.

I think they were my favourite couple in all of webcomicdom.

I kinda saw it coming. Means I'm getting used to Willis drama.

I oanted to comment on yesterdays strip, thanking him for it, but yeah, I was afraid of something like this happening, so I waited for todays comic. Sadly it lived up to my expectations.

Let's hope that it doesn't end too badly, but with them holding together and Billie sobering up too.

Ok...hadn't got this far in the forum, and figured I should add my list.  Anyway, these are the ones I have bookmarked on the puter:

http://xkcd.com/ One of the first ones recommended to me, and I admit I don't get every one, but the creativity is amazing.
http://twolumps.net/ Meaningful to me because (a) it's often very funny and (b) our first cat as a couple was a Russian Blue, the cats featured in this comic.
http://questionablecontent.net/  But of course ... followed this one after all the mentions by David Willis, and very glad I did.
http://thebookofbiff.com/ A nicely warped sense of humor.
http://www.ma3comic.com The naughtiest comic I read, although Willis may change that. I'm too cheap to find out.
http://www.dumbingofage.com/ With, of course, Shortpacked! (I found that because of a For Better Or For Worse group on Live Journal I read - DON"T JUDGE ME YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO JUDGE - which reran David's "My Mother Is Insane!" spoof.)  I'm glad he's doing the "Bring Back Roomies!" as I never was able to get through that or "It's Walky!"
Others I would include are "Hijinks Ensue" and "Girls With Slingshots" which I follow on Comics Chameleon. I tried "Something Positive" but even though Mulholland's guest QC strips have been hilarious, I just can't get into the regular strip.

Two recent additions to my roster include:

http://sinfest.net/ - a slightly weird, but very philosophical and at times very beautiful comic. You may need to go back a few pages to get into the current plotline, but it's worth it!
http://leftoversoup.com/ - a slice-of-life comic with Biblical references and sexually diverse characters

An early commentary.

Campbell originally faced scrutiny in 2012 for claiming to have faked depression and capitalizing on it. Judging by Campbell’s latest action, that claim may not have been real.

I have now also seen that John Campbell came out recently (in a private message to Kickstarter backers) as a transgender female - though I have seen no mention of her using a different name (before anyone jumps on me for that!).  What bearing this might have on her present actions and mental state, I cannot presume to say.

ASW can be so wonderfully evocative.

I just realized that I interpret all love or relationship-themed ASW comics as spoken by a woman to a man. I need to stop doing that.

Thissssss... I've fallen in love with this webcomic.  It reminds me so much of the relationship (more like friendship? Relationship seems to fit better though) I recently.. acquired(?) with a friend....

That.. doesn't sound right.. I'm trying to say that I recently became very good friends with an awesome girl.. and it's like I am Heather and she is Sahira :3

It looks like.. really professional and I love the characters and story :)
