Eh...putting in the word "horrible" kind of makes it not one. Although the first time I tried a shot of 151, my reaction was indeed "it tastes like burning".

I still need to read that...but I have the second half of A Song of Ice and Fire to finish first, which has got to be at least...two thousand pages. (Maybe not exactly half, but I'm about halfway through book 3, so close enough)

Haven't read the Dune saga in a long while myself actually.  Might do that after I get through Karen Traviss' series which I'm doing ATM

I like Veronica reactions at the start to "...drinks until then", "Excellent!".  Her hands and the phrase almost feel like they should be done by Doctor Evil. :-D

Really?  I get more of a Monty Burns vibe...

And I haven't read the Dune trilogy since it was one, back in the 70's.

Now, the vibe I got from V.V.'s pose was less "Dr. Evil Burns" and more "Yay!"

DUNE REFERENCES.

On that note I would like to say Dune used to be my emergency glovebox book in my old car.

Also I have *absolutely no idea* what you mean by trilogy. There was only one Dune book. And only one Matrix movie while we're at it.  /JediMindTrick

It's all in the eyebrows. Head down + eyebrows lowered = Burns; Head level + eyebrows up = "Yay!"

While the third movie is awful and the first movie stands far and above the best one, I'm going to ignore everyone and admit that I really like Matrix Reloaded. It's absurd escapist fun. But I never watch it because, I mean, come on, I can just watch the first one instead.

I've only seen the first Matrix film, because I didn't think it was that great. Brilliant photography/effects sure, but also Keanu Reeves.

But who else could have delivered the classic line "Whoa! I know kung fu!" with such feeling?

And yes, I realize that he never said that. He said "Whoa!" repeatedly, and he said "I know kung fu", but not at the same time. But he should have. (Insert remark about respecting headcanon.)

There are good actors and bad actors, and then there is Keanu Reeves, the un-actor.

Funny thing; just before I came to this thread, I happened to be thinking about how terribly unsatisfying Keanu Reeves was as the villain of Kenneth Branagh's adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing.
(For those who are in the know, I think Sean Maher is going to do much, much better. ;D )

Worst time machine ever; only accurate to the nearest day and lands you in that day at a point relatively later than your departure. Helps avoid collisions I guess, but really?

No, she was holding the pendant while standing there watching the car wreck.

And she's met the fellow in the police box before.
