hanners drum count strip?
« on: 12 Mar 2013, 08:09 »

Hi all,

I'm trying to find the comic where Hannelore is counting prime numbers as time signature at their band practise, might anyone remember the whereabouts of said comic....?

These occasional flashbacks serve as an excellent reminder of how much Jeph's drawing technique has improved with time.

So was this for a math class, a music class, or are you showing it to a drummer?

Did Jeph ever write a Deathmole track with the sequences of primes?

15/4 time is something I'd expect from Tool, but not from any band with enough common sense to use a 4-beat.  :psyduck:

Time signatures have been explained to be a bunch and I still don't get it.

My boyfriend is the same with key changes - no matter HOW many times I try to explain them, haha.

Also, I just keep seeing this guy :psyduck: and I really wanted to use him in a post. So :psyduck: :psyduck: :psyduck: BAHAHAHAH.

I've never been good with music. I'm tone deaf and no matter how much I've tried I can't read sheet music. Although I have learned to play songs on piano and guitar by memorising hand movements. There have been times I've started with my hands in the wrong place and played the wrong keys/notes but the right hand motion and just couldn't tell until someone pointed it out to me.  :psyduck:

Related to the comic: I really like Hanner's poofy hair.

I put it in the [more] section because I felt that having the moving head on every compose screen would be an irritation too far.

I... never realized it was supposed to be a parrot. I just thought it was a weird shape with a gleefully opened mouth. Kind of like bunchie.

Thank you, pwhodges.  Thank you.

Seconded.
