I have to this day managed to avoid the Pony lore, and I hope to continue to do so for a long time. I suppose the fact that I have no idea where he referenced Ponies is a good thing, but then the only part I don't understand in that post is that Pinkie Pie thing, so I suppose that has something to do with Ponies? I have no idea how though.

Um, I'm a "no TV" guy, to the point where I haven't even seen a single South Park episode, far less MLP, but even I know that Pinkie Pie is a Pony ...

Yes. It's a running gag here. DSL made an attempt to give it some new life. At the risk of groaning (as a result of knee-contact with boy-parts).

The two-wheeled electric silly thing is a Segway. WAY.

Still silly, though. Especially when you see someone with a badge riding one. Or a whole bunch of tourist someones riding them in a group, all wearing the rented, mandated plastic-and-styrofoam brain buckets. Then it's really silly.

IDUHG, you are, like me, a Buckeye, right? My favorite Segway picture is one of our former governor, Bob Taft (Gov. Dweeb, I liked to call him) hamming it up on a Segway. I'm trying to dig up the old AP picture, but in the meantime, enjoy this. And speculate on whether the caption was typed by someone trying to use a smartphone keyboard with his/her nose.
