Bonjour! Hola! and Hello.
« on: 17 Mar 2013, 23:47 »

Though one might suspect an MtF like myself would be joining as per the rest of Claire's following It's merely a coincidence for me as I took it upon myself to join the forums of ever comic I have been reading for years now just this week. That being said, I like seeing trans people being represented in comics, especially one I love so much as QC. Claire is well written and I do hope to see where she goes from now on. Jeph your mind is a microcosm of awesomeness that has spawned many interesting people who feel quite real, more so than most fictional characters. I look forward to enjoying the future of QC together with everyone else here. Oh and don't worry, I'm quite friendly if anyone feels inquisitive about my personal situation as member of the trans community.

Thank you. I do hope to be active from now on. Things do get in the way. I have a bad habit of dropping off the grid sometimes for years at a time. The IRS couldn't find me to deliver some papers once, that alone should speak volumes. I'm no criminal just a person who occasionally finds herself in areas where plumbing is rare much less internet.

Edit: I just realized that claiming not to be a criminal makes me look rather suspicious. Yes FBI, I see you there.

My hobbies include reading, writing lyrics, writing fiction, quantum theory, SPAAACE!, cooking, and to a lesser extent weapons development. I've lived in Texas most of my life but I have been known to reside in Florida, Missouri, and Mexico.

Si aunque en conversacion uso el dialecto Mexicano Norteno que es donde viene mi familia. Tambien estudie el Espanol en escuela pero no quiero el fastidio de poner acentos en todo. Aussi le Francais. Never played Portal by the way, though I did play Portal 2. I thought potato GLADoS was adorable. I've just been curious about quantum probability since I taught myself the basics when I was 11. I even have a little side project that could finally put to rest the ridiculous notion of the grandfather paradox if I can just get the math right.

That is hilarious considering I'm working on melding his special relativity with quantum probability into a single equation that would mathematically allow for time travel while simultaneously eliminating causality paradoxes. My hope is that it would lead to more efficient communications systems, perhaps even an FTL coms system.

And mech eng on the side!

Well, a certain fictional iron-suited scienginist's father was portrayed as being primarily mech. Goodness only knows you lot tend to be on the calculus-heavy side of the profession. Personally, I prefer discrete.

Ah yes, calculus the eternal frenemy. You know half the stuff on the Iron Man armor is technologically feasible. Just discard the fake stuff like the repulsors and the arc reactor and one could build a version that substitutes plasma rockets for lift and just plug it into something to provide the juice. Snarky AI not included.

Thank you for the warm welcome Blue. I'll gladly join the Clairite legion. I find her fun and one of the better representations of a transperson in webcomics. Though I will remark that I've yet to see any translesbians like myself out there. Yeah I just got minority-er on your butts.
