  • Rock 'n Roll is cool, Daddy, and you know it!

I wonder if there's a true guitar-bass combination, with the six guitar strings, the four bass strings, and maybe a couple strings in between.
Besides the example I already saw, if you stretch the concept of 'guitar' a bit, some of the Chapman sticks (the 12 strings) have close to that sort of arrangement. And god only knows what some crazed luthier has concocted.

Of course, you don't have to tune an 8 string down like a 'hybrid bass.' You can use the extra two strings as a drone, tune one to D so you can play drop D stuff and still have an E string in the traditional config, and so on, and so on.

Did someone make the joke about a lead violin being awfully hard to play due to enormous weight yet?

Which brings me to the question: does that one cake have lemons in it? Or sour grapes? Because if it has sour grapes in it, then I wouldn't want it anyway

Not to be confused with their Talking Potato™ or their Talking Spheres™ line or their Motion Triggered Speaker Talking Tour Guide™ ... man, Aperture Science sure likes their talking.

@Comic:
Urm... anticlimactic much? Would've loved this to be a "catch you last second at the airport" sorta scene at the music store.
